The Sunday School

Rev. Carolyn Tibbott (01708 730608)

Sunday School will be running on the first, third and fourth Sundays of each month during the family service which begins at 10.30am.

We will be leaving the church service after the first hymn and plan to have story time, activities and prayers for the children, we will be bringing the children back into church after the intercessions, when the children will share with the rest of the congregation what they have been doing.

We look forward to seeing you - Carolyn

Flowers in Church & Memorial Table

Mrs Joan Mumford (01708 742111) or Mrs Betty Dennis (01708 742734)

For many years a dedicated group of ladies has kept the Church beautifully decorated with flowers. This is carried out on a rota basis, with all of us contributing together at major festivals. The work enables us to show our skills at flower arranging, which we all enjoy. If you also enjoy this delicate art form please join us. Please contact us by phone, you will be most welcome.

The St Michael's Choir

The Choir attends the 10:30am services and all major events in the Church calendar.

The choir is generally available to sing at weddings.

New members of the choir are always encouraged. Prospective members do not have to be brilliant musicians. A willingness to be part of our choir is usually sufficient.

Friday Club

Friday Club was formed in the early 1960s for ladies of all denominations living in the parish who were unable to join daytime groups.

The Club meets in the Chadwick Hall at 8:00pm on the first Monday of each month (not August or September). We endeavour to invite a Guest speaker, and have been amazed at the huge variety of subjects presented over the years.

We occasionally take ourselves off on an outing to places of interest.

In August we have our Annual Coffee Morning & Bring and Buy. In 2001 the proceeds went to our 'charity of the year' Leprosy.

We welcome new members at any time.
